I used Zyprexa for insomnia and a slight obsession, but quit after a week. It made me feel extremely disorientated and weak. I had tremendous headache - not helping me sleep better.

TITLE: Zyprexa reverses sexual dysfunction of Effexor
TYPE: Personal Experience
GENDER: Male
EMAIL: Robras43comcast
Please advise if you can, the chemical mechanism by which it is possible for zyprexa to reverse the sexual dysfunction caused by Effexor XR. I have been on and off of the drug several times in the past three years because of elevations in my fasting blood glucose. When I am on Zyprexa my sexual functioning is normal. When I discontinue the Zyprexa the sexual dysfunction is terrible. This drug was a God send to me in that it allowed me to sleep (I have terrible insomnia). It leveled off my mood and it took away the sexual dysfunction of Effexor. I only wish they could come out with a new formulation that didn't cause elevated blood glucose levels. Robras43
